Forum Shopping Mall Activity

Our activity that took place at Forum Shopping Mall on the 24th and 25th of March was warmly welcomed by the mall visitors.

14th February, St. Valentine’s Day Event

This season started indoors for Ikarus Event. On the St. Valentine’s Day, our Zeplin Board in Cevahir Shopping Mall read “Share the most creative marriage proposal on İstanbul Cevahir Facebook page, and win a diamond ring” on one side of it. On the other side it had a 3D diamond ring and the Facebook address. This activity was definitely the focus of the day.

DPID Direct Marketing Awards

“Marketing Awards” is organized in order to publicize direct marketing campaigns, which has become one of the prominent aspects of brand communication recently, to support the sector’s progress, and to improve the quality of works. And the jury did their best to decide on the best works.

With the “Air Attack” activity, Pegasus Airlines got the first place in “Activity Marketing – Special Awards”, and the second place in “Local Promotion Campaign”. They received their awards in a ceremony that took place on October 15th.

The 18-member jury, which picks the rising agencies and clients, consisted of: DPİD, Association of Advertisers, Association of Advertising Agencies, Association of Consulting Companies in Communication, members of IAB (Internet Advertising Bureau, academicians, as well as representatives from Media Cat and Marketing Türkiye magazines.

On the Fathers’ Day, we were in Caddebostan for NIVEA (June 20th, 2011)

IKARUS EVENT team was at Caddebostan seaside on the Fathers’ Day for an organization that was part of NIVEA’s 100th anniversary activities.

During the day, 10 paramotor flights were made with a paraglider which carried the NIVEA logo. 1,000 pro-chutes were dropped from the air. Masses were directed to the NIVEA stand by leaflets attached to the pro-chutes. Advertising of the brand and promotion of the products were more than doubled thanks to the pro-chutes.

Pro-chute just proved itself in Caddebostan!

"SENDE IŞIK VAR!" July 16-17 Solar Beach Kilyos - İstanbul (July 18th, 2011)

Plus Event Marketing organized “SENDE IŞIK VAR!” (YOU HAVE THE LIGHT) events for IŞIK Schools, and Ikarus Event team took part in the Kilyos Solar Beach event. On two consecutive days, we had paramotor flights for 2 hours, which acted as a Fly Board.

The paramotor shows were admired by thousands on the beach.

Pantene and Head & Shoulders Road Show Started with Ikarus Event. (July 23rd, 2011)

Pantene and Head & Shoulders Road Show, which lasts for more than 30 days throughout Turkey, started in Kemer, Antalya.

The activity was organized by Response Direct Marketing. During 2-hour paramotor flights 200 Head & Shoulders and 200 Pantene samples attached to pro-chutes were dropped down from the air. So it rained Head & Shoulders and Pantene! The activity will recur on August 28.
